Jorge Credenza
Inspired by the chalchihuitl, the Náhuatl term for precious jade, the Jorge credenza reinterprets the codex glyphs into a rhythmic circular pattern that orders the surface.
More than ornament, it translates into wood the idea of treasuring; just as jade was believed to preserve vital force, it holds what is cherished in daily life.
